After breakfast, departure on the road towards Halong, registered
to the World Heritage by UNESCO since 1994. The bay
Halong is a veritable maritime maze consisting of nearly 3000
islands or islets in the form of sugar loaves. These rock formations do not
are not unique to Vietnam, but no place has the
greatness of Halong, first by the number of islands, then, and above all,
because of the still slightly foggy visibility that gives a
sensation of mystery and infinity. Embarkation for a cruise

on the Perfume River. Visit the beautiful Thien Mu pagoda,

Discovery of the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc. You continue
then towards Hue by taking the Mandarin road via

Departure by bicycle to the fishing village of Van Lang and
the coconut forest of Bay Mau. Expected market stoppages

Transfert à l’aéroport de Ho Chi Minh pour prendre le vol PM vers Siem Reap. Arrivée, formalités et transfert à l’hôtel. Souper et logement. (PD,S)

 

JOUR 22 SIEM REAP

Petit-déjeuner et visite des temples Roluos: Preah Ko, Bakhong, Lolei. L’après-midi sera consacrée à la visite d’Angkor Wat. Il représente le mont Meru, la maison des dieux dans la mythologie hindoue. Il est également le symbole du Cambodge. (PD, D, S)

 

JOUR 23 SIEM REAP

Visite de la Porte Sud: Angkor Thom, le temple Bayon, unique avec ses 54 tours décorées de plus de 200 faces de Avolokitesvara, la Terrasse des Eléphants et du Roi Lépreux, Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas et visite du fabuleux temple Ta Prohm enlacé par des racines d’énormes figues. Dîner et visite de la «cité des femmes»: Banteay Srei, joyau de grés rose dédié à Shiva. Continuation vers la «cité des paysans»: Banteay Samre, connue pour son exceptionnelle ornementation et puis le temple Pre Rup. (PD, D, S)

 

JOUR 24 SIEM REAP | PHNOM PENH

Transfert à l’aéroport pour prendre le vol vers Phnom Penh. Arrivée et visite du Palais Royal, principale résidence du roi et de la reine. Découverte dans l’enceinte du Palais de la Pagode d’Argent, abritant des fresques inspirées du Ramayana, un sol pavé d’argent et bien d’autres trésors de la couronne. Visite du Musée Raung Damrei et Musée national des Beaux Arts, construit par les Français à partir de 1917, et qui occupe un vaste bâtiment de couleur ocre abritant une très belle collection d’art khmer. Souper et logement à Phnom Penh. (PD, D, S)
